Solar Buddies are Award-Winning Child-friendly, refillable sunscreen applicators. Designed by Mums, for Kids!

Solar Buddies take the hassle out of everyday sunscreen application and make it a breeze, by simply filling the applicator with your favourite sunscreen over and over again.

The unique Rollerball and Sponge combination mean that the sunscreen is dispensed and evenly applied to the skin without the need to touch the sunscreen, meaning no more messy, greasy hands!

Applicators are sold as an empty vessel. Sunscreen and replacement head is not included.

Simply fill with your favourite sunscreen, shake and glide.

Solar Buddies work with most sunscreens. However, we advise not to use oily or watery type sunscreens (e.g Sprays) as they can leak.

Thicker sunscreen do work fine, they just may require a little more shaking to move the cream down to the rollerball dispenser.

Why do we love Solar Buddies here at Ollie and Zara?

We first came across Solar Buddies Sunscreen Applicators at a baby show in 2022 and purchased one to try for our own children. We were instantly impressed with the ergonomic design, ease of use and versatility. We also love the compact size meaning it stays in our nappy bag for when we are out and about.

Given our harsh climate in Queensland, sunscreen application is an everyday part of life when our kids are outdoors so a product that makes this process easier is literally a lifesaver!

My 2yr old also loves using our Solar Buddies and the foam applicator means that its also soft enough for application to sensitive areas like under the eyes.

We believe it's a must for any parent with little ones and we are sure you will love it as much as we do.

Love this applicator

We have been using this applicator for 6 years, and needed another one.
It is brilliant, and so easy for the kids to use.

Brilliant product

We love these for our little ones. They can apply sunscreen themselves and being refillable makes them better for the environment. Also love the sponge - acts like a makeup sponge and spreads it around evenly. Because the top the off you can wash easily too.
